The secret to using the metronome is starting with something really simple. So for that very reason take the Eminor chord and set the metronome to 40 BPM and just play simple down strums.

- Don’t attempt to play anything until you can tap your foot with the metronome first
- Then play the Eminor chord as simple quarter note down strums
