How Bizzare Copy

Here’s a catchy pop tune using the same 3 chords A D and E,  however this time I want you to use the capo on the 3rd fret so you can get a feel for playing along with the record.

This has a pretty fast tempo for the beginner guitarist however this may help drive your practice if you can keep up with the recording.

I learn’t to play the guitar basically by listening to records, tapes then CDs well before Youtube. I emphasise the word listen as many students spend so much time watching videos that they forget to really listen to what they are actually doing. Don’t get me wrong, videos can be an excellent learning aid for the guitar buts its your ears that you will ultimately rely on.

Its a good fun to play along with the original recordings as you tend to have to keep up with a real band and it gives you a sense of motion and realism to your practice. Think of it this way – theres no stopping the band… you have to keep up!

If your not ready for this tempo just work at it until you can get there otherwise you will get frustrated and we don’t want that!

CAPO 3rd FRET

LYRICS

Brother Pele’s in the back
Sweet Zina’s in the front
Cruisin’ down the freeway in the hot, hot sun
Suddenly red-blue lights flash us from behind
Loud voice booming
Please step out onto the line
Pele preaches words of comfort
Zina just hides her eyes
Policeman taps his shades
Is that a Chevy ’69?
How bizarre
How bizarre, how bizarre
Destination unknown, as we pull in for some gas
Freshly pasted poster reveals a smile from the past
Elephants and acrobats, lions snakes monkey
Pele speaks “righteous, ” Sister Zina says “funky”
How bizarre
How bizarre, how bizarre
Ooh, baby, ooh, baby
It’s making me crazy, it’s making me crazy
Every time I look around (look around)
Every time I look around (Every time I look around)
Every time I look around
It’s in my face
